Cave of wonders

Now that Toys R Us is going out of business, there is sure to be a sharp decrease in my posts about toys that are inappropriate, have wonky faces, or that are associated with funny signs like this one. Too bad the BM Cave hit the fan for them.

Bad English in Japan

In July 2004, I went to Tokyo, Japan for work, and while there, I visited Tokyo Disneyland. I was very amused by the bad English I saw on people's clothing, and since I was by myself and this was pre-smartphone, I passed the time in lines by writing the bad English I saw on my park map. Picture a 25-year-old white girl, roasting in the sun--it's the hottest I ever been--and smirking to herself. I later emailed a group of friends about my trip and included some favorite findings:    

-Snoopy is the world famous beagle! (There were quite a few Peanuts shirts)

-Laughter rose within me before I was aware of it (with 2 pictures of golden retriever puppies)

-Screaming message music Jesus has for those who listen

-Smile make emotion and feel some creative! It’s just romantic and person shine poetry

-Protects gently—I am wrapped

-Minnie is well know was Mickey’s girlfriend

-Have the flowers of both hands fullness and to meet you
