Halloween decor

Halloween is a favorite holiday of mine. I'm not an enthusiastic costume person, and I am a total lightweight when it comes to scary movies, but I like creepy, strange things, and I've collected a lot of related decor--this year felt like a little too much! Here are some highlights:

Zombies from the dollar store that make a duck-like groaning noise when you squeeze them, interspersed with heads that you squeeze and their eyes pop out:

Black cat light with glowing eyes and bubbling orange liquid when it warms up:

Pumpkin door hangers made by my Grandma Feitz. She did a lot of crafts with plastic canvas and yarn:

Pumpkin paper lantern. I have several of these but don't want to risk them getting ruined by weather outside, so I usually just hang one in the kitchen:

Haunted Mansion poster from Disneyland, which I've now put up as a year-round decoration. It's the best ride in my opinion.

I think these awesome candles were from a store called Illuminations. The internet just told me the chain of stores was purchased by Yankee Candle in 2006 and shut down in 2009.

This Day of the Dead wedding scene is just the best. I got it in Old Town San Diego a few years ago, and I might think of it if I had a short time to grab a few valuables and leave my house:

These two are way up on my list as well. I think my mom got them from the Evans Gatehouse store in Orem, Utah for me:

I found this Fiesta jack-o-lantern pizza platter and the candle holders through a Betty Crocker website somehow...my memory of what led me there is hazy:

We have been building a scarecrow that we leave outside on a chair in October because my mom did the same with Big Mac growing up. He makes people do a double take:

I like putting these black pumpkins with glow-in-the-dark sticker faces outside too:
