A couple of Valentine's Day traditions have evolved in our family that I really like. During a family home evening in February, each family member writes down something he/she loves about every other family member on a construction paper heart. We read them out loud and hang them on the wall until the end of February. I've been writing the year on the backs, putting them in a ziploc and storing them in a memory box to read through sometime in the future.

I've also been making an angel food cake on Valentine's Day for the past few years. It's so good, easy and light; everyone loves it with some sugared, frozen strawberries and Cool Whip on top.
