You're killing me, San Francisco! First you force people to recycle and compost, then you pass a law banning toys from Happy Meals, and now we may vote on whether to ban circumcision? Ugh.

The toy ban bothers me in principle but doesn't affect me much. Who wants to deal with the no-drive-thru-or-parking, sketchy-people-working-and/or-eating-there McDonald's in the City? (there are a couple of exceptions, but most are yuck).

Still, I'll bet the franchise owners in Daly City and Mill Valley will be clapping their hands when this law takes effect December 1st.

Lookit this jewelry organizer I stumbled upon at TJ Maxx for $15:

At last, a good way to store all my wonderful $10 earrings, bracelets and necklaces! It has a total of 40 separate pockets (20 on each side) that zip open. I like that it hangs where I can see things easily and doesn't take up space like a jewelry box. And that it doesn't get dusty like the cramped jewelry tree I had.

*Update: I saw the same type of thing at Bed Bath & Beyond for $10 and it had more pocket sizes. I wish I'd seen that first, but oh well.
